Jim works north of Boston at Castraberti’s pizza (Saugus, MA); experiences Boston during bi-centennial, including Tall Ships, Boston and the Fens (Red Sox games.) Jim goes on guy’s cruise in rented sailboat in Caribbean in fall; heads out west with Zip afterwards. Stop for a few weeks in Colorado, then out to California.

Parents cannot attend Jim’s graduation; brother John is graduating from MHS at same time.
Diving: Jim gets NAUI certification
Bob Kauffman is instructor. Jim goes to Florida Keys for Winter Study (January 1976)-necessary dives in Florida to get certified. Does open water dive in Boston at night to finalize certification.
